Contact form 7 is one of the most used WordPress plugins to create interactive forms in WordPress sites. The main problem faced with Google Adwords conversion tracking is that it is unable to read ajax events that contact form 7 and most plugins use.
The solution provided by Google is to redirect to a separate “Thank You” page. However, redirecting to a thank you page to track Adwords conversion is not only old school.
its also ineffective if you have multiple forms and one thank you page. There is no way to find out which form on which page led you to thank you page.
We will show you a better way to use adwords script. This method can be used whenever you need to record conversion on a particular event. Google Adwords Conversion code looks like this-
Just replace Google conversion id, value and label from your original script into this function. Now you can add it below your contact form as shown
This function can be called on on_sent_ok event of contact form 7 by using Additional Settings field as shown below
